Into town
"Alright, I've dicked around with my spells enough. I have an okay handle on the interface. Almost all my spells are combat oriented. I need to find a drafting table to scribe stuff.
Which means... now I'm stuck trying to talk to people. Ugh. Well, back into Leonfort proper it is, then..."
Vyndria walks back from the outskirts of town to its main entrance to see how it fares after the half hour of her screwing around with her spells, stalling.

Marshan sets her shoulders stubbornly, and argues back, but it's along the same lines as her previous statements.

"You're not going to change my mind, and you know it. Stay here, feel free to order your guild members to do the same, but Fearless is going." Once Vyndria arrives, he turns to her, dismissing Marshan. "Should I assume that you are interested, judging from the request?"

The request popping up in the air before him makes him pause in his argument and glance around to spot the source of the request. He looks up toward the gate at Vyndria once again, and then gestures her down to join him. While waiting for her, he once again looks at Marshan.
"You're not going to change my mind, and you know it. Stay here, feel free to order your guild members to do the same, but Fearless is going." He stands solid and waits for her response, but she does nothing except curse and stomp away, taking some of the small group with her.
When Vyndria doesn't show up, he finally glances up at her once again before excusing himself from the group and leaping up to join her instead. He moves with an almost startling lightness for someone in such heavy armor.
"There are simpler ways to gain a private meeting, you know," he says, but his voice is gentle and he leaves her a polite amount of personal space. "Still, I assume that you're interested in what we were talking about?"

"I was just going to radio you. It would have been simple enough. I'm just feeling a little paranoid and unsociable today.
The rest of my friends are at the capital, so yeah, I'd like to join a party headed that way.
Has anyone figured anything out about what's going on?"
